crOOzin Core

The studio’s own edge AI module: one board that senses the room, runs its models on the object itself, without the cloud, and drives the light. It is the common core of the studio’s light objects — the crOOzin lamp, the Phyllotaxis Lamp and Sea Swarm.
From parameters to the object
Height, radius, curvature, openings, rib density and twist feed a set of attractors; the attractors bend a field, the field becomes curves, the curves become a printable structure, and the structure becomes a lamp. One definition, recomputed for every piece.

An edge AI module
A round board designed to sit in the base of the object, with the processor at its centre and a ring of sensors around it — light, presence, motion, sound, temperature, touch — so that the light can answer the room and the people in it.

Nine layers, one lamp
In the top-of-the-range crOOzin, from bottom to top: wireless charging, magnetic coupler, marble base, the crOOzin Core board, a ring of batteries, a six-channel LED engine, the lens, an annular grid and the translucent sculpture.
