A private commission in a Haussmann apartment in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. Sixty points of light, set between an infinity mirror and a black mirror, multiply into a galaxy without end. Their light is programmed note by note on the clicks and beeps of a piece of music composed for the work.
Sixty points, multiplied to infinity
Sixty points of light are enough: facing mirrors repeat them until they become a constellation whose depth seems to go through the wall.
Infinity mirror and black mirror
The black mirror absorbs the room and keeps only the light; the infinity mirror opens it into perspective. Seen at an angle, the frame tilts and the galaxy slides into the apartment.
Light written on the music
A custom light programme, synchronised on the clicks and beeps of a score composed specially for the work: each point answers a sound, and the galaxy starts to turn.
